We take a flat 5% fee on each successful sale — and that’s it.
This fee includes Stripe's secure payment processing and covers platform hosting, support, and maintenance. No surprise charges, ever.

When do I get paid as a seller?
Once a buyer completes checkout, payment is held securely by Stripe.
You’ll receive the funds after the buyer confirms they’ve received or picked up the item. This protects both sides and keeps the process fair.
How do I list my gear?
Just click “List an Item”, add some clear photos, write a short description, and set your price.
Your listing goes live in minutes — no approval process needed.
Do you handle shipping?
ReFloat does not offer built-in shipping, but sellers can include a shipping fee in their listing and arrange delivery directly with the buyer.
You’re free to choose your preferred shipping method or offer local pickup.
Can I sell locally?
Yes — local pickup is common on ReFloat, especially for bulky gear.
Use the in-platform messaging to agree on a safe and convenient collection point.
What kinds of gear can I sell?
If it’s marine-related, it belongs on ReFloat.
Wetsuits, winches, boards, drysuits, anchors, outboards — and everything in between.
We moderate listings to keep things relevant, clean, and safe.
Are listings promoted anywhere?
Yes — we regularly feature selected listings across our social media channels and marketing materials.
The sooner you list, the more visibility you’ll get.
Do you offer buyer protection or a money-back guarantee?
We don’t currently offer a money-back guarantee, but it’s something we’re actively working on.
For now, we recommend clear communication via the platform before purchasing and reporting any issues promptly.
Can I edit or remove a listing?
Yes — log into your account at any time to edit, pause, or delete a listing.
If your item sells elsewhere or you're no longer offering it, just mark it as sold.
What happens if there’s a dispute?
We encourage users to resolve issues through respectful communication.
If that fails, contact us — we’ll review the situation fairly. While we’re not an escrow service, we’re here to help if something doesn’t feel right.
